Morning all, I know quite a few of you have beards like us - do you ever have bad beard days?! We both have beards, Louis's is particularly long and a day of furtling around in the woods means his beard becomes a magnet for twigs, grass, those horrible sticky balls from plants - you name it! For the pleasure of being out and about there is always a price to pay and usually it's the dreaded beard comb out and wash - yikes! This is the problem:

THEY also say our beards smell - what a nerve, they smell to high heaven especially when they get out of the shower - pooh, who would want to smell of coconut and vanilla - now that's what we call stinky! Anyway, after about an hour of teasing out bits of twig and bits, washing in whitening shampoo and conditioner, then a blow dry (we don't mind the blow dry but would never let them know that, it's high treat value you see) this is how we end up - until we go out in the garden that is! I'll leave you with this picture of Lord Louis as he does have the longest beard, and that's only because he ripped all mine out when he was a pupster playing!

Oh yah, I get stuffs in my beard too!! I must admit that it is nice having a nice cute beard though!!

Wow Louis that is some beard! I've been told my beard isn't long enough but I think mine's being pulled out by Aoife who's jealous she hasn't got one. I hate having mine cleaned and combed out too. What we 'beardie dogs' have to put up with. Love from Magic x
My people keep my beard, which I call a woozle, fairly short, but I still manage to get it all mucked up and am consistantly being told that it stinks. They will never understand how hard we work getting things to smell right.

Gorgeous beard. We know what you mean. kendra always has a bad beard, it sort of sticks out on one side because of the way she sleeps.
SHE always complains that our water dish is dirty, because we clean our beards when we have a drink.

Oh, and rubbing your beardie on the carpet get rid of some of the stuff.
You sure do look mighty handsome there, Louis, but we think all the debris in there also gives you some added qualities:) You must be very patient to endure all that special brushing. And we bet the smell is just pawesome.

Ah Louis it is a real pain being what Frankie Furter calls a Crap Magnet! BOL My hair looked almost that bad!
Mom says that I have sickie tummy if I don't eat the correct foods. But Mom once every 87 days lets me have Baby Food Chicken Weenies. As far as Sarge is concerned they pass for Tube Steak Bobin!
Maybe you Mom can form something that looks like Tube Steak. Ya never know how smart some of those Moms can be!

My mum maintains all my furs, including my beard. She laughs when it is sticking up all over, and how about our eyebrows - sometimes they have a mind of their own too!! Your beard is very impressive when it is all cwoffed like that.....it looks like she combed it OVER your nose though - tell her you can't smell!

Wow, Louis! Ever tried tickling the humans faces with your beard? It is especially effective if they are sleeping when you do it. Looks like you could get some great results!
