She's got that camera out again...!

Good Morning all, this is Louis. Hope you're all having a good weekend, I spent yesterday at dog training, the human took her camera again and kept stalking people to get photo's - can't take her anywhere! She took this one of Timo, a lovely Husky who loves to pose for the camera, luckily it wasn't too hot yesterday otherwise he must be boiling in that gorgeous coat:
Timo, he's such a poser...
I sat and watched the first class of the day which was a socialising class for dogs that don't really know how to meet other dogs properly - they just had to see me and I could have told them, sniff their bottoms of course! Anyway, this is the paddock where all the training is done:
Our training paddock and the older dogs learning to meet and greet!
I was waiting with my cousins Kaydee the Boxer and Finlay the German Shepherd, Kaydee is an older lady, she certainly puts us in our place if we step out of line!
Finlay, Kaydee and me waiting patiently
We did get chance for a run around on our own before the next class started. Finlay chases after his ball on a rope and I chase along behind barking - that's what I do best! I can run nearly as fast even with my little legs.
See - I can nearly catch him!

My human took her puppy class, she forgot to take photo's of Gracie and Zena the two Boxers who were rescued from the puppy farm so she'll take the camera again next week...oh no! Still, you would love to see them they are such gentle dogs and just beginning to enjoy themselves, a little wary at first but we've seen a few tail wags. My humans friend Maria arrived with her dog Buzz, a German Short haired Pointer. Buzz loves everyone and everyone loves him, he wasn't too keen on being made to sit quiet to be photographed with me when there is a paddock to run around in but he stopped for a couple of minutes...
This would make a great caption competition...guess what I'm thinking?
It was time for my class and I did well in some things and not so well in others so some more practise to put in...groan! I got extra treats for not moving when we had to sit still while the humans all went out of sight though! So, I'll finish off there, hope you enjoyed the photo's, it looks like there may be more next week I'm afraid. This was the last photo of me waiting for our lift home...speak soon all and have a great Sunday, Louis x
Come on - I need to go home and sleeeeeep now!

I have doggie skool today too. I'm in grade 2 now. It was cold and drizzly and windy! Lucky they cut the class short because it was cold on my tum tum when we had to drop!!

Louis - you look like you have it all sussed - especially the helping dogs socialise and stuff. I love that you run behind barking!

Tail Wuggles, Rubie.

I hope you didnt wait to long for getting some rest. That sounds like an exhausting day! I was only in puppy training, but after I had more interest in hunting leaves and birds, it went by very quickly!

I attended my OB class ages ago and I loved my class. I made so many friends there and I got lots of treats.
Thanks for sharing your photos, they are so lovely. I love the one that you're with your cousin and the GSD, aren't they huge?

That looks like a very good dog school you go to, I went to one when I was little and the teacher was very scary!!! mom says we should look around for one that is outside as we were in a hall.
Loved all of your photos, your right that one would make a great caption photo. Mine would be you saying
"does all that tongue fit in your mouth!!"
Looking at that last photo you are very hansome, it was a toss up with mom and dad, Welsh Terrier or Schnauzer, hope you don't mind me asking can you move your face like the Schnauzer in the drontal ad?
Have a good week

Sounds like you had fun learning and socializing! I've been meaning to find another class for Oscar. He went to puppy school, but his manners could use some...refreshing. :)

If you ask me Louis I thinks you did Pawsomely in your class! I thinks your Mom should have given you more treats and hurried with the car! Very rude to make you wait so long for a nap.

Looks like it was a very busy day for all, especially you, Louis. We bet you were pawesome in your class.

We loved meeting Timo - very handsome boy. But we need to work on his learning the siberian way of NOT looking at the flashy beast.

hey Louis,

Another pawsome post! I am glad your mom brings her camera because we get to see your beautiful face! And all your gorgeous friends! Timo is a beauty, as is Buzz. And that was very nice of Buzz to sit quietly for his photo.

Your cousins are gorgeous! I just love boxers as they make great playmates for me. My human loves German Shepherds as she thinks they are beautiful. Humph!

"Sniff their bottoms" - BOL! Louis, you are a very smart pup!

That coat does look hot! Of course, I was just out in the 80-something degree morning walking my boxer mix, so everything seems warm at the moment!

Great photos!

How cute that you already know how to greet other dogs properly because some dogs just cannot figure it out! Or actually, what I meant to say was that some humans don't know that if a dog sniffs another dog's butt it is perfectly okay to do so! I've seen humans slap their dogs if they sniff where the sun don't shine and that is completely out of line and just plain mean! Love the pictures!
