It's that time of year again...

Hi Blog Land Buddies! It's Louis here, i thought I'd sneak in here and post to you all while Dexter is busy snoozing. I'm getting a bit concerned as the weather gets cooler and the rain comes more often that it is getting to be (*whispers*) coat time again! Now, Dex has a nice double coat which means that the rain sort of slides off his furs but I was at the back of the queue for coats and mine is soft and velvety. That means I am forced to endure this...
I am not impressed
This was taken last year, I think you can see by my doggy language that I am NOT impressed! I'm sure all the other dogs laugh at me, I know Dexter does...grrrrr. This year I am thinking of starting a campaign, 'Dogs against Doggy Coats!' I'm sure your Peeps will hide this post from you but if you manage to sneak on when they're not looking please leave your support in the comments.

This is a controversial issue but one we must address. Will update as events occur re wearing of said article. Love to all of you and especially my Lady Tessa, Louis xxx

Louis, you look quite handsome in your coat. As you can imagine, we don't need any coats as our furs are quite thick. Would you like us to send you some of our sheddings? BOL

Oh Louis my brother Kaska has a jacket just like yours - and he hates his too but now he's got older and had to have his coat clippered short he needs protection from the cold. I do support your Dogs against Doggy Coats for us young fit schnauzers though - although actually you do look smart really :-) (thank you guys for your kind comments on my blog) love from Magic xx

Here's a tip Louis- when you get outside with your coat on, stand stock still with your legs splayed and your head down and REFUSE to budge- works for me!!!!! Alfie x

You look great in that coat, and I love the little paw-print on the back! Our pups don't typically wear coats, but our little boy Todd might this winter, we'll see--Our pups are more the bandanna type! ;-))

Hi Dex - thanks for checking up on me - yes I've had a great week apart from yesterday where my peeps left me alone for HOURS while they went off and had a "family do" lunch thingy!! (*humpfh*) It was good when they came home and brought me some smoked salmon!! Miss you my handsome boy!! xxx

Lou - I totally agree with you - coats are the worst - I'd rather shiver with wetness than have to endure mine! Lucky our weather is not as chillings as yours in the winters, because there are very FEW occasions where I need to wear mine. (plus dad dad doesn't think I should be tortured at all and refuses to walk me if I'm wearing stuff!! yay DAD!!)

See ya, Tail Wuggles, Rubie.

Hello and HUGS and XXXO to my handsomeist Beau! I have missed you so but I must give all my attention to my Mom right now, you know the foxes and all.

Anyway my dear that is what I love so much about you. You look Marvelous is ANYTHING that you do or don't wear. I mean I love your woozle and the fact that your fur is soft and velvety. That is what make you, well, you.

I understand how frustrated you are with Dex givin you the business when you wear your coat. Ask you Mom to put Rubie's picture on your coat so that every time Dex looks at you he sees his girl and well he certainly can not make fun of you then!

All and all I say that you look quite smart in your coat and at least you will not get sick in the cold weather. If I can thinks of a better idea I will lets you know post haste!

Woooooooos and BIG Hugs to my Manly Beau!

Hugs, your Girl

Hi Louis, I think you look fab in your coat. I love coats cause I don't like the cold. I had a couple of jumpers mum let me wear when I was a really little squirt. Mum has a thing about us feeling cold if we have to stay outside when she is working. She has even bought Rory a HUGE coat for when he is bigger.
Have a great week.
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

SAY NO TO DOG COATS! I will gladly wear my sporty orange no-huntin-me vest, even the insulated one when it be furry cold but that is not a dog coat, that be a piece of necessary safety ekwipment fur hiking during hunting season. So I repeat, SAY NO TO DOG COATS! I hate them! Grrr.

You think you have problems, I am a Labrador for dogs sake, just wait till you see what she makes me wear if it gets icy, goes on about someone called arthur itis with initials HD, and if she EVER shows the pictures on my blog I will never squeak my toys for her again.

Oh I have some coats as well, dont like them either, but you know when its raining a lot, its nice to stay dry underneath it... so maybe we could do a campaign called: dont laugh at us while we wearing coats, its only for our best, ok thats to long, I go with yours!
