Hi Dex & Lou,
That looks great fun, I'm missing my field, that to has been invaded with cows, sometimes they dont mind sharing but other times they are not so keen, so mum says "were not going there again" well not yet anyway,
I know how you feel with the wind and noise my mum leaves me the t.V on so its not so noticable, but bonfire night is dreadful, I can still hear all the firewoks.
My aunty says to wear a jumper that belongs to your mum as it can help to make you feel safer.
I hope the wind calms soon for you.
Loves for now

Hi guys, Alfie gets quite nervous outside in the wind! One of our regular fields has been taken over by sheep and one sometimes has horses in it, but you can't always see them at first so i can't risk letting Alfie off till I'm sure, which he is not impressed about!!
Phantom doesn't like the wind because he doesn't hear much any more. The sensation of the wind seems to scare him a bit.
Maybe you could try Louis with one of those D.A.P. calming collars we used with Lightning when he first came here. They are good for about 30 days.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
I have never furtled. Is it fun?
Hi Dex and Lou, Windy days are funny aren't they. Sometimes they make our ears flap around. Noises can't hurt you dear Lou. Maybe your mum can play some loud music (quietly at first) and over some days/weeks gradually increase the volume till its pretty loud. It might help. I heard peeps aren't supposes to acknowledge fearful behavious. Just walk around as if nothing is happening la la la.
I hope you are ok. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
Oh how I love the wind! Silly Louis, you should tell him a wind brings super much fun as flying leaves! But I dont like the sound of motorcycles, they are really loud...
Parker loves to feel the wind in his beard. Lou looks like he's got his head out the car window- it sure was windy!
Me and Addy dont mind the wind. It is fun to have it blow your ears!! ENJOY your field!!

Have you heard of Thundershirt? You can refer to Oskar's post on it here: http://thedailyoskar.blogspot.com/2011/07/thundershirt-rocks.html which apparently helps to calm us doggies altho results may differ on individual dogs. Oskar said it worked for him on loud evenings of fireworks! Personally I have not tried though. Hope this helps.

Boy that field looks like a great place to run and role in. I hope the cows move soon so I can see more pictures of you two running.
Tell Louis that I am sorry he is so worried about the wind and other noises. I hope he can get feeling safer soon.

Hi my sweet Dex, Hi Lou,
Like Bowie - I was going to suggest your mum looks into the Thundershirt....Oskar our fellow mini had great success with it! Personally - I am also scared of fireworks and thunder - lucky we don't get much of either!
Dex - I'm soo happy your liked my artistic streak, it's amazing how high up I got on the ladder...I was tryin' not to look down!
Till next time....... miss you Dex!!

We hate loud noises, too. Just find a nice quiet corner, behind something and you'll be fine. A human lap is good, too.
That's some wind in your woozle!
XXXOOO Daisy, kendra & Bella
We both hate fireworks. We've never tried it but we've heard that Bach Rescue Remedy works wonders.
Love ya lots

Hey Dex and Lou!
Wow, it's windy here too. Warm one day, rainy and cold the next. I bet that field will be full of rabbits that deserve a good chasing!!

My big brother loves the wind. It stirs up all his favorite smells!
I am a new follower, new schnauzer blogger and new puppy. My humans pick me up on Monday morning!
I just thought I would introduce myself.

That's so cool you get to roam the field without a leash. I'm always afraid to let my boys out free like that. Shiver gets nervous/spooked easily and I'm afraid they may run off and I wouldn't find them again.
I love the wind too.. I just do not like horns honking!
I heard good things about the thunder shirt.
I would love to go roming in those cow bussy pastures with you!

Hello Dex and my Lovely Louis!
I sure is sorry bout all the wind. But maybe it is a good thing.
I think you look marvelous standing there, your woozle blows quite nicely in the wind! You do look so very handsome my dear beau.
I agree with Bowie, Oskar does do quite well with his Thundershirt. Have your Mum see if she can locate it in the UK. I think that it may help you lots.
Woos to Dex
Hugs and XXXOO to my Dearest Louis!

It has been pretty windy here as well. I got scared the other day when this big gust of wind swirled all the leaves and they attacked me.
