Angels with Dirty Faces...

Hello Everybuddy! Hope you've all had a good week and those who were feeling poorly and having to see the V-E-T are feeling much better!

We've had a few days of wonderful sunshine again - yay! Yesterday we went down to our Grannies for the Popster to mow her lawn and tidy up the garden ready for Winter. The first thing we did was rush down to the bottom of the garden to check the sheep in the field behind the house, we like to stop and pass the time of day with them. Guess what we found?

Our sheep friends have gone and instead we have a field full of slugs in the next field - what's that all about? Our Momster tells us these are not giant slugs but big bales if hay wrapped up ready for the winter in black plastic, hmmm...not sure about that...this is going to need some investigation we can see. There is a railway line which runs right behind this field, imagine across the middle of the photo which sometimes has the Orient Express on it and sometimes a Thomas the Tank Engine - we'll try and get some pics of that for you sometime.
We had a few hours chasing the lawn mower and making lots of noise and eating lots of the lovely green stuff.
Louis
We must admit we did get our faces pretty dirty, Louis's beard came off worst as he's got the longest but it was worth enduring the torture of the beard wash later for all the fun we had. We didn't manage to silence the mower thingy sadly so that job still has to be done another day - we'll keep barking at it until it shuts up, you'll see!
After a hectic day of fun in the sun there was only one thing to do last night - sleeeeep, and dream of talking sheep :-)

Have a lovely weekend everyone - we'll be round to visit you all over the next couple of days and catch up on the Blogville News.  Dex and Louis xxx

Hi boys..... and my sweet Dex (*wink*). At least you got to get your frustrations out at the lawn mower thingy - I don't get to do that.....Grandpaw mows his lawns when I am not there, and we have no lawn!

Well - I gotta say I got to visit the v-e-t today to show him my skin problem..... he thinks I've picked up something in the spring grasses that don't agree with me...so...brave yourselves.... I've got the dreaded cone of shame on!! I can't move at all - and I just give mum and dad dad my best "miserable" look. I love making it *torture* for all us....why suffer alone huh!?! Should be all hunky dory in a couple of days.

So gotta go - and give my peeps more misery looks, be good both of you!

Tail Wuggles, Rubie xxx (the xxxx's were for you mainly Dex!)

That touch of a green glow is very smart on you, Lou. Bet you had lots of fun barking at that mower. And we all think it is very nice of your peeps to be helping out the Grannies.

Have a wonderful weekend and pleasant sheep dreams.

Hey Friends! Looks like you two had some serious fun yesterday!

Did you hear I am moving in a few weeks? I am going to have a BIG yard! I have been a city dog my whole life so I don't even know what to do with a big yard. Maybe you guys can hop the pond and help me with my new yard. BOL!

Your pal, Pip

Looks like you guys had some serious fun. I have never met a slug but I think I would rather have a field full of sheep :)

You look so peaceful sleeping! Play hard, sleep hard!

That was a super day! So much to see and do. We ignore our lawnmower or we just get in it's way to annoy it.

Sleep well, boys before your next big adventure.

Hi guys - thank you for asking after us. My humans have been laid low with bad coughs and colds and I couldn't get to blog or even go anywhere exciting to blog about! But things are looking up now so I'm back blogging again today - love from Magic xx
