Helping with the Gardening and Pupsters

Happy Monday Everyone! Dex here, well the time has flown since Friday, we are for once enjoying a very hot spell, well the Peeps are enjoying it but we're sure our walks have got shorter, we've been spending a lot of time lying in the shade.

Louis met a couple of new puppy's when he went training on Saturday, we thought you might like to see them - they are soooo sweet, even though they're not Schnauzers ;-)

Ria, a Springer Spaniel who kept nodding off - she looks so sleepy bless her.
Maddy, a very cute and very mischievous Boxer pupster.
Anyway on Sunday the Popster was doing the garden so I decided to help him. First of all there were a bunch of weeds that needed clearing but they were covered with these little chaps, there were about 30 that we counted so the Momster wouldn't let him touch them. She thinks they are Cinnabar moth caterpillars, moths who fly in the day and are really pretty - so...we have a wildlife reserve area now (or a weed patch that's been left!)
Before...
After...
Louis and I were kept busy barking at the electric monster thingy which roars across the lawn and chops it all down.
Keeping a careful eye on the Lawn Monster...
I went along behind hoovering up everything it dropped, I was threatened with a bath afterwards but I got away with it!
Do you think my green socks are a clue to what I've been up to?
Anyway that's us for now, I've just noticed my head looks really big on that photo, my head isn't really the same size as my body, whatever Louis says! Have a lovely week all, we'll be back later in the week and hopefully Friday will have the 3 final photo's to show you, that's if the judges can reach a decisionDex and Lou xxx

PS The Momster is trying to get around everyone's blogs, she had a cortisone injection in her shoulder (she said she nearly thumped the Dr when he did it!) - typing is fine for five minutes or so so she's doing the Blog Round in stages!

That butterfly is really pretty! How funny that the yellow turns into red but the black stays the same.

Hope your mom's shoulder gets to feeling better.

I love the pictures!!! I hope your mom's shoulder gets better soon. Having just had a shot of cordisone in my thumb, I know how it feels at first. After a week though, the pain is long gone (for now at least!) Lots of love, Debbie & Holly

OH, talk to us about heat - it just keeps getting worse and worse here by the day. Today we got to 103 and tomorrow may hit 108 - insane!!!

Two nice looking pups Louis met there. Bet they all had fun.

We sure hope Mom's shot helped. Our Mom says her Mom used to get cortisone shots in her shoulder and the shot hurt more than the shoulder did.

Feel better, Mom.

Dex - I love your green socks......I would have had to have a bath for that! It sounds like you are excellent helpers in the garden...like ME!

PeeS: My dad dad is building a gate to keep me out of the vegie garden, it replaces the temporary lattice that has tried to keep me out up to now. I tell mum that I am helping when I am stomping over the little seedlings, but she doesn't agree!

I do like your green socks - no chance I would be able to have my feet green! Sweet pupsters at Louis' class too. I don't go to classes any more now. Me and Kaska decided we weren't that bothered about learning and dropped out:-) Hope your Mom's shoulder is feeling better soon - love from Magic xx

Hello Sweet Dex and Handsome Beau Louis Dear!

My my you boys sure have been busy. Training is a good thing and I am so glad that you enjoy it Louis. Sorry about the heat, I am not a fan of the heat either, I tend to nap alot when not working for Mom.

Ah Dex you are a sweetie but I gots to tell you that green is just not your color. It so clashs with the silver in your coat. BOL But I am glad that you enjoyed hooverin the grass clippings.

I have my paws crossed that your Mom's shoulder feels better real soon.

By the by Louis don't be too worried by Frankie, he is a very protective Big Brother and tends to worry bout be a bit.

Woos to Dex and Huggies to Louis, Tessa

hey Dexter and Louis,

Your friend Ria is beautiful, and your friend Maddy is adorable! I bet they are fun to play with!

What a fun time in your garden! The Cinnabar moth is very pretty.

Good job getting out of a bath! Close call. Love your green paws and beard. Looks like you had a great time chasing the lawn eater monster. :->

I am so bummed that I missed your fun contest. My human was much too busy this month and I couldn't blog, so I was never able to get a photo in. I even had a great idea. Bummers! I love seeing all the entries though. Such cute and creative pups!
